B.Com (CS) course is designed to provide students with a wide range of secretarial practice skills and understanding various laws of company, banking and industry, to meet immediate growing needs for qualified manpower in the corporate world.

The subjects covered are: Company Law and Secretarial Practice, Financial Accounting, Corporate Accounting, Cost Accounting, Management Accounting, Income Tax Law & Practice, Human Resource Management, Entrepreneurial Development, Security Law and Market Operations, Business Communication, Auditing and Marketing.

Yes, the students in their final semester (6th) have to undergo Institutional Training in any one of the following organizations: Public Sector Undertakings / Statutory Bodies / Public Enterprises and Public Utilities / Office Equipment Marketing Organizations / Office of a Practicing Chartered Accountant, Cost Accountants or Company Secretary and they have to submit the Institutional Training Report.

The programme provides a foundation for taking up higher studies in Law, Commerce and Accounting related areas. After completing B.Com. CS, you can do M.Com or MBA, the choice depending on your interest. You can also prepare for competitive exams like bank exams, SSC, railways, UPSC etc. You can also go for further studies like ACS, CA, ICWA, CMA, CFA.
